Aim

Our aim was to support a small, specialist rare diseases company with the global launch of their novel product for an ultra-rare condition, by acting as a true strategic partner delivering seamless and adaptable support across medical communications, evidence generation and market access, alongside agile insourcing, ensuring a cohesive launch strategy.

Approach

We worked as strategic partners with our client, providing tailored support across multiple workstreams with a global scope. Our Value and Access, Medical Affairs, Evidence Generation and Publications workstreams each had a dedicated, senior workstream lead, ensuring leadership and expertise in each area. Our workstream leads collaborated closely alongside an overall account manager to deliver a flexible and aligned service ensuring seamless integration across the various project types:

  • Partnership with senior client stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive market access strategy alongside development of global market access materials
  • Development of compelling and cohesive messaging across medical communications, which complemented the market access strategy
  • Publications planning and development, to disseminate key messages and evidence at the right time
  • Medical education support and on-site event support, working flexibly to adapt the strategy based on insights gathered in the field
  • Design and conduct of tailored evidence generation activities, applying strategic and data-driven methodologies suitable for an ultra-orphan condition to meet specific market access requirements

“Very precise working approach and comprehensive results. Costello really thinks along with the companies’ needs instead of only focusing on delivering results…In a period marked by numerous projects, having Annabel on board facilitated seamless communication and coordination. Her dedication and efficiency in bridging the gap between [the teams] greatly contributed to the success of the different projects. Annabel’s wealth of experience in the UK/HEOR/rare diseases field has proven to be invaluable.”
