Spotlight Topics

Drawing on this year’s conference theme “Shaping the Future of Access Through Science and Policy”, we’re focusing on several topics that reflect the most pressing conversations in the field, including Joint Clinical Assessment (JCA) and Technical Innovation and AI.

Shaping the Future of Access Through Science and Policy

Alongside our work on client projects, our Value & Access experts conduct independent research to examine emerging challenges in market access and value assessment, contribute to the wider evidence base and help shape the evolution of policy and practice.

We are pleased to deliver an issue panel discussing the incentives and barriers to investment in disease prevention, as well as a podium presentation exploring the success of conditional access agreements for rare disease.

Visit our booth to find out more about our Value & Access services.

Joint Clinical Assessment

2026 has seen JCA move from anticipation and initiation into a practical reality, with the first published JCA reports, terminated assessments and national decisions informed by JCA outputs. As more products continue through the JCA process, the industry is further gaining a clearer understanding of the preferences of the assessors and evidence requirements for a successful JCA.

Drawing on hands-on, end-to-end experience across the JCA lifecycle, we help clients develop cohesive strategies that align evidence generation, evidence synthesis and dossier development. Our approach combines deep technical expertise with a detailed understanding of assessor expectations, along with flexible scalability to respond to the demands of JCA.

Our support spans all aspects of JCA, including strategic planning, PICO scoping, Joint Scientific Consultation, evidence generation, JCA dossier development and subsequent national HTA submissions.

Visit our booth to discuss our learnings from our experience and the implications for manufacturers moving forwards.

Technical Innovation and AI

AI and other digital technologies are creating new opportunities across evidence generation, HEOR and market access. However, successful adoption requires more than new tools. It requires understanding where technology adds genuine value and how to apply it without compromising scientific quality.

Our Scientific, Engineering and Innovation teams work together to identify practical, evidence-based applications of AI that support our clients’ objectives. Our approach is guided by clear AI Principles and underpinned by rigorous testing, staff training, transparency and enterprise-grade security.

We are applying AI across activities including HTA insight generation, systematic literature reviews, global value dossier development, statistical programming and conference intelligence.

Visit our booth to discuss how responsible AI can support your evidence generation and access strategies.
