We’re proud to share an important milestone in Costello Medical’s journey: our transition to employee ownership.
Our company is now owned by an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT), a structure designed to secure our long-term future, protect the culture we’ve built, and ensure that Costello Medical continues to deliver exceptional work to our clients for generations to come.
From a day-to-day perspective, nothing changes. It is the same brilliant Costello Medical teams, delivering the same high-quality technical and strategic guidance and customer service. Our entire leadership team, including me as founder and CEO, remain firmly in place and focused on the future, with the freedom to continue investing in innovation, technology and new capabilities that help our clients succeed in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.
We know that in our sector, change in ownership can sometimes lead to shifts in priorities or disruption to delivery. This move is very deliberately the opposite. This transition isn’t about changing who we are. It’s about protecting it. By moving to an EOT, we’re reinforcing our commitment to our values, maintaining the standards our clients expect, and ensuring we remain independent – free from external shareholders, investors or parent-company priorities, and focused solely on the long-term interests of our people, clients and the business.
We also believe employee ownership strengthens what has always been our greatest asset: our people. By giving employees a genuine stake in our future success, we are investing in the retention, development and engagement of the talented teams that our clients rely upon every day.
We’re excited about what this means for the long term: a stable, sustainable business where success is shared with our people, and where our clients can feel confident in the continuity, quality, and integrity of our work. In a world of rapid change, including the transformative impact of AI, we believe clients increasingly value partners with stable values, long-term commitment and the confidence to invest for the future. Employee ownership ensures that Costello Medical remains exactly that.
This transition reflects our long-term commitment to preserving Costello Medical’s independence, values and focus for decades to come. It also reinforces our belief that a successful business should be a force for good: creating meaningful careers, sharing success with our people, supporting our wider communities, and delivering work that ultimately benefits patients and healthcare systems. We are deeply grateful to our employees, whose expertise, dedication and care have shaped the company we are today, and to our clients, partners and wider community for their continued trust, collaboration and support.
