We will have a number of spotlight topics for the conference, including patient centricity and engagement, Joint Clinical Assessment (JCA), and the potential for technical innovation and artificial intelligence (AI) to facilitate advances in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR).
We are committed to involving patients in our work at Costello Medical, as we know it can maximise its relevance and impact, ultimately leading to better treatments and patient outcomes. We welcome the focus on patient centricity at ISPOR Europe 2025.
We are pleased to deliver a podium presentation exploring methods used to quantitatively incorporate patient preference in prior NICE appraisals, building on our established research focusing on the integration of the patient voice in HTA. Earlier this year, we hosted a webinar titled “Engaging Patients in Value & Access: A Multi-Stakeholder Perspective”, available to watch here.
Our Patient Engagement and Value & Access teams can work together to support small patient-focused projects or deliver full patient engagement strategies.
If you have any questions on how to include and maximise the impact of patients in your work, or want to hear more about our patient engagement services, please reach out to Emma Phillips or any of our conference attendees.
The HTA industry in Europe is continuing to adjust to the introduction of the JCA process earlier this year.
We are thrilled to deliver a JCA-focused podium presentation at the conference, outlining a roadmap for preliminary indirect treatment comparison assessments to inform evidence generation planning for JCA.
This has been informed by our extensive experience supporting our clients to prepare for JCA, including performing PICO simulations, early evidence synthesis feasibility assessments, and supporting one of the first products selected for EU Joint Scientific Consultation. Our research and thoughts relating to EU HTA can be found here, along with further details on how we can support industry with navigating the JCA process.
Please reach out to Matt Griffiths or any of our other conference attendees to discuss how we could support you with your EU HTA needs.
The potential for technical innovation and AI to facilitate advances in HEOR remains an important priority for us at Costello Medical.
Our research at the conference explores the use of AI in evidence synthesis and value dossier development, reflecting our commitment to advancement in this area.
Our approach is continually evolving, and our scientific teams collaborate with our dedicated Innovation and Engineering teams to identify and act on possibilities for innovation. From incorporating AI for efficiency gains, to pioneering new approaches to create bespoke deliverables and best meet our clients’ needs, we can advise where digital technologies can add genuine value and enhance your project. Find further details of our approach, services, AI principles and examples of our latest work here.
If you have any questions about how AI could be used to support your objectives, or would be interested in collaborating with us, please reach out to Natalie Hearmon or any of our conference attendees.
