I initially joined Costello Medical as an Analyst/Medical Writer Intern, before applying to be an Analyst, in our Multidisciplinary division. In these roles, I worked on a variety of interesting project types, including market access materials, HTA submissions, literature reviews, health economic models, advisory boards and eLearning materials.
I was quickly promoted to Senior Analyst in October. My responsibilities increased to include line managing Interns as well as taking on more client management.
I also started the MSc in Economic Evaluation for Health Technology Assessment from the University of York. This was fully encouraged and funded by the company and has provided me with a wealth of skills that were valuable for this new role.
In the same year, I was given the opportunity to attend the ISPOR congress in Copenhagen alongside my colleagues, which was funded and supported by the company.
Our division was rebranded to the Market Access division, which meant that I started to spend more time on projects that focus on communicating the value of products to different stakeholders so that they can eventually be accessed by patients.
In October, I was promoted to the role of Consultant. This role allows me to lead on exciting projects and provide strategic support to various clients from the pharmaceutical industry.
Outside of my project work, I also enjoy contributing to our pro bono efforts and internal congress research.
