Joined Costello Medical as HR Administrator as part of an apprenticeship programme which supported my completion of the CIPD Level 5 Diploma in Human Resources.
I enjoyed the increased level of responsibility I was given early on, such as running the HR induction session for new starters and taking part in interviews for the Scientific Internship programme.
Promoted to Senior HR Coordinator, which involved managing certain HR processes, line managing members of the team and also supporting the day-to-day running of the Operations division, which was a horizontal progression opportunity I took on.
I also began studying for my CIPD Level 7 Certificate in Human Resources and became a trained Mental Health First Aider, which was supported by the company.
I was thrilled to join the Pro Bono team, supporting Costello Medical’s efforts to give back to the community and support various charities. I also play a key role in our Global Health Internship programme, which aims to improve healthcare in low- to middle-income countries.
Promoted to HR Manager, a role which sees me leading the HR and recruitment function across our global offices. I was particularly proud to lead the launch of our first performance management software and to develop the Company Handbook for our future office in China.
