How would you describe a typical day in the life of an Analyst at Costello Medical?
My focus varies so much each week that no workday has been “typical” – but I will give this a go!
My mornings, when my mind is freshest, are usually spent drafting written work or prioritising urgent matters. For example, I could be drafting a manuscript on back pain, working on a scientific abstract about rheumatoid arthritis, or assisting a client to urgently prepare a slide set for an upcoming meeting amongst the medical team in their company.
On quieter mornings, I am sometimes given the opportunity to attend workshops or training sessions to further develop the core skills I use every day. These are hosted internally and led by my senior colleagues. This is a brilliant opportunity to come together as a company and share our learnings which I find inspiring.
My afternoons are usually reserved for client meetings and internal catch ups. I really enjoy our internal catch ups as we get to bounce creative ideas off each other or boost efficiency within our project teams. Every other week, the entire company meet online to share exciting project news and company-wide updates.
The most important part of my typical workday is my colleagues! We often host group lunches, birthday celebrations or social events – I love being part of the Costello Medical team.
In summary, there’s rarely a “typical” day at Costello Medical and there’s always enough to keep me motivated!
