2016
Joined Costello Medical as a Project Assistant, working cross-divisionally with the Publications and Medical Affairs divisions. In this role I coordinated congress publications and supported development of educational slide decks, amongst other tasks. I also carried out and coordinated internal research, resulting in an oral presentation at ISPOR 2017.
2018
I joined the newly formed Rare Diseases team and soon after I was promoted to Senior Project Coordinator. I began taking more of a leadership role in projects, which required high levels of coordination. I also supported and attended external client meetings and helped shape the processes of the Rare Diseases team.
2019
My responsibilities in the Senior Project Coordinator role increased, seeing me line manage and mentor junior team members, as well as supporting with other internal initiatives such as recruitment.
2020
I graduated with a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Trials from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, which was supported by the company.
In October, I was promoted to the role of Account Support Manager within the Rare Diseases team. In this role, I have taken on co-project management responsibilities for a number of accounts, and also provide support and advice regarding budgeting, resourcing and training, with the overall goal to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the division. In addition to my external project and internal divisional support roles, I also work cross-divisionally with the Senior Project Coordinators and Project Assistants, representing the views and needs of this group within the Senior Management team.
