2019
I joined Costello Medical as a Project Assistant in our Literature Reviews and Synthesis division.
2020
I successfully applied for the Analyst role and moved into this new position in April. At the same time, I also relocated from our Cambridge to our London office.
In this new role, I worked on the development of deliverables for our clients in the healthcare sector, focussing on literature searching methodologies, such as clinical and economic systematic literature reviews to support HTA submissions, gap analyses and targeted literature reviews.
2021
I was promoted to the role of Senior Analyst in October. This new role saw me taking on more project and client management responsibilities, as well as training more junior members of my team.
In the same year, I also expressed an interest in exploring other divisions in the company, particularly Market Access. As a result, the company enabled me to start working cross-divisionally across both Market Access and Literature Reviews & Synthesis projects, meaning I enjoy an even greater variety in my workload and I’m expanding my expertise and knowledge of the industry.
2023
I made the decision to move to the new Market Access division full time; working on projects that aim to show the value of a new drug or novel therapy. I made the decision to move division so I could work on a wider array of project types. I also play a key role in our Pro Bono division, working on projects with charitable organisations across healthcare.
I have also recently been involved in the development of Costello Medicals’ corporate social responsibility policies and annual impact report, which I found to be a very interesting experience. I am always looking for new projects to trial as I love the challenge of trying new things.
In the same year, I also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Economics from the University of York, which was funded and supported by the company.
2024
In March, I had the opportunity to attend the European Psychiatric Association Congress in Amsterdam, which is an ideal opportunity to network with professionals and keep up to date on the latest innovations in our field.
