2017
I joined the Literature Reviews and Synthesis division as Project Assistant and began supporting with a range of projects involving evidence generation for a wide range of clients.
Shortly after I joined Costello Medical, I began working with the internal IT team, allowing me to offer my knowledge and skills in this area, as well as expanding my responsibilities beyond my day-to-day client work.
2018
I applied for, and successfully transitioned into, the Analyst role. At this time, I was working cross-divisionally and collaborating with our HTA, Publications and MedTech divisions on projects, such as literature reviews, feasibility assessments, manuscript development, and market access materials.
I began working on internal innovations to improve the efficiency of project processes and to enhance our client-facing deliverables, creating new processes as well as macros in Microsoft Office that are regularly used across the entire company.
2019
I was promoted to Senior Analyst, introducing me to project management responsibilities and becoming the primary point of contact with clients. I was also responsible for training colleagues on project processes and activities and started to take a more active role in generating new business with existing clients.
I additionally took on more responsibilities within the internal IT team, contributing to operational and strategic discussions and helping to test and critique new technologies prior to rollout to the wider company.
2020
Following my involvement in several MedTech projects, I decided to move to this division full-time. This allowed me to apply my knowledge of evidence generation projects to the challenging medical technology space and pursue new challenging projects and take on additional responsibilities, such as line management and leading new and unfamiliar project types.
2021
I was promoted to Consultant. In this role, I am responsible for working closely with my Division Head in driving business development for the division, planning for new projects, and monitoring the financial health of the division. Day-to-day I provide strategic leadership across multiple project teams, allowing them to deliver high-quality and purposeful work and providing them opportunities to progress their own careers within the company.
In the same year, I became a founding member of our Technical Innovation and Development division. This saw me playing a key role in strategy and planning, and leading activities within the company to improve the efficiency and delivery of projects across both scientific and operations teams.
