Joined Costello Medical as a Project Assistant, working cross-divisionally with the Publications and Medical Affairs divisions. In this role I coordinated congress publications and supported development of educational slide decks, amongst other tasks. I also carried out and coordinated internal research, resulting in an oral presentation at ISPOR 2017.
I joined the newly formed Rare Diseases team and soon after I was promoted to Senior Project Coordinator. I began taking more of a leadership role in projects, which required high levels of coordination. I also supported and attended external client meetings and helped shape the processes of the Rare Diseases team.
My responsibilities in the Senior Project Coordinator role increased, seeing me line manage and mentor junior team members, as well as supporting with other internal initiatives such as recruitment.
I graduated with a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Trials from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, which was supported by the company. I took on co-project management responsibilities for a number of key accounts within the Rare Diseases team, advising on budgeting, resourcing and efficiency.
