Our teams have been busy applying their expertise to a wide-range of disease areas and project types, and achievements ranged across the company:
We reviewed over 60,000 unique abstracts (at least once)
— Evidence Development
We supported 26 HTA submissions across 18 therapy areas and 7 HTA bodies, including the UK (NICE, AWMSG and SMC), Ireland, Sweden, Greece and Belgium
— Health Technology Assessment
We supported the development of Strategic Plans for 7 molecules across 13 indications globally, and submitted over 200 abstracts and 50 manuscripts
— Publications
Our team grew by almost 100% and we have since expanded our digital and marketing repertoire
— Design
Since formalising the division in May, the team have worked on value materials for products in 11 different indications
— Market Access
We embraced the increased accessibility of virtual conferences and webinars, and many of us completed the IFAPP Academy Medical Affairs in Medicines Development Certification Programme
— Medical Affairs
In 2020 we completed our first full HTA in Switzerland; we also saw a substantial increase in demand for publications

We carried out our first formal structured expert elicitation and took our projects beyond Europe – covering the US, Japan and China for the first time
— Rare Diseases
We added 2 more Statisticians to the team, and spent the first lockdown applying our evidence synthesis skills to COVID-19

Our client base has expanded, providing support to private and public sector organisations alongside pro bono charity support

We opened a US office in Boston and recruited 12 staff within its first year, expanding our global expertise to offices spanning across the UK, Asia and the US
Our Real-World Evidence division was launched with members across the UK, Asia, and the US
We delivered bilingual materials and projects in regional languages, including Mandarin, Korean and Japanese
