Since joining Costello Medical as a Health Economist in October 2015, Wrik has led the de novo development of cost-effectiveness models, burden of disease models, and budget impact models, across a range of disease areas and interventions, including rare diseases and medical device projects. Wrik has been involved in several submissions to HTA bodies in the UK, including NICE and the SMC.
Wrik joined the Costello Medical Singapore office in October 2017, and has supported ACE submissions in Singapore at all stages of the process. This has involved building new economic models, the adaptation of models to local settings, and the writing of submission documents, as well as regular collaboration with clinicians. He is looking forward to expanding the health economic service offerings in the Asia-Pacific region and applying his knowledge and skills to a variety of projects.
Wrik graduated from the University of Oxford in 2014 with an upper second class honours degree in Economics and Management. Following this, he completed a Master’s degree in Health Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science. For his dissertation, Wrik worked on a placement at the Performance Insight Team of the Department of Health, investigating equitable maximum waiting time standards in England, through an analysis of QALYs forgone whilst waiting.
