Originally from South Korea, Min Hee graduated from the National University of Singapore with a second upper class honours degree in Life Sciences in 2013. Keen to gain a deeper understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying human pathology, she pursed a PhD at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS where she investigated the role of epigenetic modifiers in regulation of skeletal muscle differentiation and development of a paediatric muscle cancer, rhabdomyosarcoma. She also received a prestigious scholarship from NUS Graduate School for Integrative Sciences and Engineering. Throughout her research experience, Min Hee acquired skills in the communication of scientific concepts, highlights of which include winning an SLW research grant where she proposed a novel research topic to unravel the molecular mechanisms of rhabdomyosarcoma.
Min Hee joined Costello Medical Singapore in 2017 and she looks forward to using her scientific research and communication skills in a wide range of projects in the Asia-Pacific region. Being a native Korean speaker, she is also excited to provide a platform for the company to spearhead more potential projects in South Korea.
