Lynn graduated with a first class MA (Honours) in English Literature and History from the University of Edinburgh in 2015. Driven by an interest in the use of mass media for population-level behaviour change, she joined the University of Oxford’s Department of Social Policy and Intervention as a postgraduate student in 2016. For her master’s thesis, she conducted a systematic review of mass-media based interventions for the prevention of illicit drug and alcohol abuse in adolescents, using Qualitative Comparative Analysis to determine whether specific components of message content or delivery were associated with intervention success. She left Oxford with an MSc in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation in 2017, achieving best examination performance in her core and option modules and a Distinction overall.
Having developed an abiding interest in evidence-based methodology, Lynn joined the Evidence Development Division at Costello Medical as a Project Assistant in January 2018. She is delighted to be a member of the company and looks forward to developing new knowledge and skills in the healthcare sector.
