Kate graduated from the University of East Anglia in July 2014 with an upper second class degree in Biochemistry. For her final year research project she investigated the roles DNases play in preventing the re-establishment of Campylobacter biofilm populations. The results generated from this project went on to be published in two peer-reviewed scientific journals. Following her undergraduate degree, Kate completed a Masters degree in Epidemiology at Imperial College London in 2015.
Motivated to work within the healthcare industry and improve the lives of patients, Kate joined Costello Medical as a Scientific Intern and was delighted to transition into the permanent role of Analyst in March 2016. Since joining Costello Medical, Kate has worked on a diverse range of projects across several disease areas in the Evidence Development and HTA and Health Economics Divisions. She has particularly enjoyed becoming involved with the company’s pro bono projects, which have focused on benefiting patients who suffer from rare diseases in the UK. Kate looks forward to working within the talented and dynamic team at Costello Medical as well as further developing and applying her scientific knowledge across a variety of projects.
