Chris graduated from the University of York in 2011 with a first class Masters degree in Chemistry, before going on to Imperial College London where he embarked on a PhD in Membrane Biophysics. His research utilised a multidisciplinary approach to investigate the effector function of membrane stress response systems involved in bacterial pathogenicity and multi-drug resistance. The results obtained from the project were published in two peer-reviewed scientific journals and delivered at a number of national and international conferences. After completing his doctorate, Chris undertook a year-long post-doctoral position working on the development of a novel class of drug molecules in collaboration with GlaxoSmithKline.
Driven by a keen interest in the healthcare industry and a desire to apply his scientific knowledge in a more commercial environment, Chris joined Costello Medical as a Cross-Divisional Analyst in September 2016. He is looking forward to working on a variety of projects across Costello Medical’s different service areas and broadening his knowledge of the healthcare sector.
