Schezn joined the Asia-Pacific Analyst Team in 2014, having undergone both clinical and scientific training in a wide range of disease areas.
After graduating from the National University of Singapore with a second upper class honours degree in Pharmacy in 2012, Schezn practised as an inpatient pharmacist in an acute care surgical ward at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. As part of her graduate course, Schezn conducted a systematic review of clinical trial data on anti-epileptics for seizure prophylaxis, obtaining a merit for her paper that discussed the failure of new anti-epileptic drugs in overcoming pharmacoresistance. She earned a distinction for her research thesis, which investigated the long-term efficacy and adverse effects of greater occipital nerve block and flunarizine for refractory migraine, through which her systematic review, critical appraisal and medical communication skills were further honed.
