Craig joined the company in 2010, working in our Cambridge office before relocating to Singapore in 2014 to launch our Asia-Pacific office. Since opening the office, Craig has focused on recruiting and developing a high-calibre team with excellent scientific and language skills to support clients in the region.
His experience covers the range of our service offerings, with particular focus on development of regional medical affairs programmes, submissions to the Singapore HTA agency ACE (Agency for Care Effectiveness), real world evidence studies and publications. His passion lies in working closely with clients to understand their strategic objectives and developing innovative, tailored solutions to help meet those goals.

George joined the Singapore office in 2014, bringing a wealth of experience from Costello Medical’s UK office where he worked for nearly two years prior. In Asia-Pacific, George enjoys translating his health economics, health technology assessment, market access and medical affairs skills to the region’s diverse healthcare environment.
George graduated from the University of Oxford with upper second class honours in Physiological Sciences, specialising in neuroscience and signalling in health and disease. After graduating, George worked as a Research Assistant in the laboratory of Dr Suresh Jesuthasan in Singapore, investigating the neural circuitry underlying fear and anxiety.

Schezn joined Costello Medical in 2014, having received training in clinical pharmacy at the National University of Singapore and then at Tan Tock Seng Hospital as an inpatient pharmacist in an acute care surgical ward. Schezn also holds an MSc in Clinical Neuroscience from the University College London and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Health Economics from the University of York.
Since joining the company, Schezn has developed knowledge and technical and strategic expertise across a wide range of disease areas and project types, including HTA and health economics, market access, medical affairs, evidence development and publications. She enjoys the challenge of applying her clinical and scientific training in diseases and therapeutics to projects and providing evidence-based support to the pharmaceutical industry across the region.

Ma Qian graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2014 with Double Honours Degrees in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and Business Administration. As part of her final year course, Ma Qian conducted a research project on biofuel recovery. Prior to joining Costello Medical, Ma Qian gained additional insights into the healthcare industry as a conference producer at Terrapinn, where she managed the development of the Biotech Showcase and Symposium, held as part of the 7th BioPharma Asia Convention 2014 in Singapore.
Keen to pursue her interest in the healthcare industry, Ma Qian started at Costello Medical as an Analyst in 2014, and has since then gained experience in medical affairs and market access projects for clients in Asia-Pacific. With her regional experience and language skills, Ma Qian is excited to further develop Costello Medical’s services in Asia-Pacific, particularly in China and Taiwan.
Senior Health Economist

Since joining Costello Medical as a Health Economist in October 2015, Wrik has led the de novo development of cost-effectiveness models, burden of disease models, and budget impact models, across a range of disease areas and interventions, including rare diseases and medical device projects. Wrik has been involved in several submissions to HTA bodies in the UK, including NICE and the SMC.
Wrik joined the Costello Medical Singapore office in October 2017, and has supported ACE submissions in Singapore at all stages of the process. This has involved building new economic models, the adaptation of models to local settings, and the writing of submission documents, as well as regular collaboration with clinicians. He is looking forward to expanding the health economic service offerings in the Asia-Pacific region and applying his knowledge and skills to a variety of projects.
Wrik graduated from the University of Oxford in 2014 with an upper second class honours degree in Economics and Management. Following this, he completed a Master’s degree in Health Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science. For his dissertation, Wrik worked on a placement at the Performance Insight Team of the Department of Health, investigating equitable maximum waiting time standards in England, through an analysis of QALYs forgone whilst waiting.
Ruth Le Fevre

Ruth graduated with first class honours in Biology from the University of Bath in 2008, and with a PhD in Plant Sciences from the University of Cambridge in 2014. She spent just under three years of post-doctoral work at the Sainsbury Laboratory in Cambridge, studying the genetics and molecular mechanisms of disease resistance to filamentous pathogens in barley and wheat, before joining the Costello Medical Publications Team in January 2017. Ruth has experience writing a variety of scientific documents including review articles, peer-reviewed manuscripts, book chapters and blog-posts, and has produced and given posters and oral presentations at numerous national and international conferences during her time in academia.
Ruth is now looking forward to gaining experience in a commercial working environment and is particularly excited about moving into the field of healthcare and further developing her writing skills.

While originally from Taiwan, Carol has lived in New York, Hong Kong, Rome, and London. She graduated from University College London in 2015 with a first class BSc in Human Sciences. Thanks to the interdisciplinary nature of her degree, Carol had the opportunity to study a diverse range of disciplines in both natural and social sciences, from pharmacology to project management. She received a first on her dissertation, which explored the roles of modernisation in the treatment methods of depression in post-Mao China; this sparked her interest in the pharmaceutical industry and led to her application for the Analyst role at Costello Medical’s Singapore office.
During her time at UCL, Carol developed a passion for science communication and was a science section sub-editor of UCL’s student-run magazine, Pi. She also worked on a number of other science communication projects, including the production of a science radio show.
Carol also gained experience working in a business environment as an intern for a marketing company in Taiwan; the experience prompted her to study for the Chartered Institute of Marketing Level 3 Foundation Certificate, for which she was awarded a distinction.
Having joined Costello Medical’s Singapore office in January 2016, Carol is excited to help contribute to the growth of the company in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as to develop her skills through working with the talented team in Singapore.

Amrita graduated from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2012 with a second upper class honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. Thereafter, she worked as a Research Officer at the Singapore Immunology Network, an institute of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) for 2 years, where she conducted research in chronic Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection and Hepatocellular Carcinoma. She worked on projects investigating how HBV is regulated in the cells and the identification of host factors that support the reproduction of the virus.
In 2014, Amrita left A*STAR to pursue a Masters degree at Imperial College Business School in the UK, and was conferred a Master of Science degree with distinction in International Health Management in 2015. The interdisciplinary nature of her postgraduate course provided her with a broad knowledge of business management, specifically in the healthcare and life sciences sectors, through a range of modules such as health economics, strategic management and managing change, and innovation in healthcare. She also gained experience in consulting during her Masters course through a project executed for a major pharmaceutical company in the UK, which aimed to strategise the expansion of its integrated care programme for heart failure to other chronic conditions.
Amrita joined Costello Medical as an Analyst in June 2016. She is looking forward to using her knowledge and experience in the life sciences and healthcare management to work on a range of projects and contribute to the further growth of the company.
Min Hee Choi

Originally from South Korea, Min Hee graduated from the National University of Singapore with a second upper class honours degree in Life Sciences in 2013. Keen to gain a deeper understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying human pathology, she pursed a PhD at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS where she investigated the role of epigenetic modifiers in regulation of skeletal muscle differentiation and development of a paediatric muscle cancer, rhabdomyosarcoma. She also received a prestigious scholarship from NUS Graduate School for Integrative Sciences and Engineering. Throughout her research experience, Min Hee acquired skills in the communication of scientific concepts, highlights of which include winning an SLW research grant where she proposed a novel research topic to unravel the molecular mechanisms of rhabdomyosarcoma.
Min Hee joined Costello Medical in 2017 and she looks forward to using her scientific research and communication skills in a wide range of projects in the Asia-Pacific region. Being a native Korean speaker, she is also excited to provide a platform for the company to spearhead more potential projects in South Korea.

Bo graduated with a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Cambridge in 2014, where she investigated the role of mRNA trafficking in local protein synthesis-dependent axon guidance. She then furthered her skills in high-resolution live microscopy through postdoctoral research at Duke-NUS Medical School, Singapore. Throughout her academic research experience, Bo came to find her interest and strength in scientific communication, as she enjoys communicating complex scientific concepts and information, by both written and oral means, in a clear and engaging way.
Having joined Costello Medical in 2017, Bo looks forward to applying her research and communication skills in new areas of medical research. She is excited to develop her ability to work closely with clients in the development of medical publications, which she hopes will make a meaningful contribution to those who may benefit from advancements in the healthcare industry.

Rohini joined Costello Medical in September 2017 after completing her PhD in Experimental Medicine from McGill University, Canada. Her research focused on exploring the role of the ubiquitin proteasome system, specifically the ubiquitin ligase Huwe1, in male germ cell development. Using germ cell-specific knockout mouse and cell culture models, she showed that this enzyme is critical in the establishment, maintenance and differentiation of the spermatogonial stem cells. Her initial interest in reproductive biology was fostered during the work conducted in pursuit of her MSc degree in Clinical Embryology, during which she trained in various assisted reproductive technologies. She also holds a first-class honours degree in Microbiology from the University of Calcutta, India. Apart from her academic achievements, she has been actively involved in student body associations and freelanced as a scientific editor.
Rohini is excited to use her experience in scientific research in a more commercial setting at Costello Medical and looks forward to contributing to the company’s expansion in the Asia-Pacific region by working across divisions and on a wide range of projects.

Filza graduated from Nanyang Technological University in 2009 with a first class BSc honours degree in Chemistry and Biological Chemistry. After graduation, Filza worked for two years as a scientific associate at Forma Therapeutics where she worked on the synthesis of screening library molecules using a combinatorial chemistry approach called diversity-oriented synthesis (DOS). Thereafter, she continued to widen her scientific expertise at the Novartis Institute for Tropical Diseases (NITD) and was involved in early-stage drug discovery work as a medicinal chemist. In 2012, while still at NITD, she embarked on an industrial PhD funded by Singapore’s Economic Development Board. Her research focused on the synthesis of natural products for the development of new treatments for malaria.
Fuelled by a passion for healthcare and a strong desire to learn more about the later stages of the drug development pipeline, Filza joined Costello Medical in January 2018 as an Analyst in the Singapore office. She is excited to be part of a highly energetic team and looks forward to applying her knowledge and experience to a wide range of projects.
Mei Kwan Chan

Mei Kwan graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 2013 with a second upper class honours degree in Pharmacy. She has gained solid clinical expertise in a broad range of disease areas from working at major hospital institutions in both Hong Kong and Singapore. In 2017, she went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Drug Discovery and Pharma Management at University College London to develop a deeper insight into the development process of pharmaceuticals and the business potential of therapeutic sciences. Mei Kwan subsequently joined Costello Medical as a Medical Writer after graduation. Equipped with a strong scientific background and business acumen, she is determined to set a global footprint together with the company.

Mulu completed her bachelor degree in Pharmaceutical Science at Fudan University, China, in 2012. Thereafter, she went on to pursue her PhD in Microbiology at the National University of Singapore, where her work focused on the mechanisms underlying starvation-induced persistence in mycobacteria associated with phenotypic drug resistance. After graduation in 2016, she continued as a Research Fellow in the same laboratory leading multiple drug discovery projects for nontuberculous mycobacteria infections. During her six years of experience in infectious disease and drug discovery, she has first-authored nine publications, and presented her work at numerous local and international conferences.
With a desire to improve healthcare more directly, Mulu joined Costello Medical in May 2018 as an Analyst in the Singapore office. She is excited to be part of the talented team. Coming from a research background, she looks forward to developing her skills further within the commercial setting of the healthcare industry and implementing her knowledge and experience to facilitate the development of pharmaceutical products, especially in the booming Asia-Pacific region.

Niki graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 2005 with a Diploma in Visual Communication Design. She joined the Visual Communication Team at Costello Medical Singapore in July 2016, with a wealth of experience in every aspect of the art of communication from conceptual development to creative deliverables.
Having worked with award winning design agencies, government agencies, event and production companies as a Creative Designer and Web Designer, she is well versed in both offline and online design.
As a Senior Graphic Designer at Costello Medical, her role involves working on a range of design projects both for internal and external business support, such as branding, promotional materials and infographics, as well as printed and onscreen deliverables.
Niki also has a keen interest in digital design and UI/UX design. She is looking forward to developing her skills with the team at Costello Medical.

Jenny joined Costello Medical as an Office and Finance Administrator in June 2014. She has played a key role in supporting the growth of the Singapore office, by providing support in developing the office management and financial administration processes of the company.
Prior to joining Costello Medical, Jenny gained extensive experience in office administration in previous roles, including 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry at Janssen Cilag in Singapore. She is excited to resume work in the pharmaceutical industry, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and experience required to provide strong support to the team in Singapore.
Yan Ran Wee

Yan Ran graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2016 with a BSocSci first class honours degree in Communications and New Media. Besides building a strong background in quantitative and qualitative social science research, her degree also allowed her to explore and better understand the use of new media and interactive platforms for communications in the modern-day digital age.
As an undergraduate, Yan Ran also pursued a personal interest in and enthusiasm for science and health communication. For her final year Honours Thesis, she embarked on a research project investigating YouTube as an emerging new media platform for the communication and discussion of STEM subjects, for which she received a high distinction mark. Having joined Costello Medical in 2017, Yan Ran is excited to continue developing her knowledge and passion for science and health communication, and looks forward to applying her writing, research, and organisational skills to contribute to a wide range of projects.
