In 2013, Craig led Costello Medical’s expansion into Asia-Pacific, an exciting development in the company’s international growth strategy. Since opening Costello Medical’s Singapore office in 2014, Craig has focused on recruiting and developing a high-calibre team with excellent scientific and language skills to support clients in the region.
Prior to his work in Singapore, Craig worked for 4 years in Costello Medical’s Cambridge office, working across all of Costello Medical’s service offerings. His experience ranges from supporting launch events for products in the Middle East, to managing the development of medical education events for 500+ attendees, to advising clients on activities to enhance market access across Asia-Pacific. His passion lies in working closely with clients to understand their strategic objectives and developing innovative, tailored solutions to help meet those goals.

Lucy has managed a wide variety of projects since joining Costello Medical, including HTA submissions, systematic literature reviews and value dossiers, in a broad range of disease areas. In her role as Head of the Multidisciplinary Division, Lucy is particularly excited about continuing to diversify and improve the service offerings at Costello Medical, ensuring that they continue to meet the high expectations of both clients and colleagues. Lucy also manages Costello Medical’s pro bono project activities, and coordinates the company’s expanding interest in public health through collaboration with public sector and charitable organisations. She really enjoys the variety of work and opportunities on offer at Costello Medical; Lucy is part of the recruitment team and has performed research for presentation at ISPOR alongside her client responsibilities.
Prior to joining Costello Medical, Lucy graduated from the University of Oxford in 2006 with an upper second class Masters degree in Chemistry. She then completed her DPhil studies in Clinical Medicine in 2010 and continued her research at the Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine in Oxford as a post-doctoral researcher. Lucy’s doctoral and post-doctoral research covered a variety of infectious diseases, focusing on the role of the essential nutrient iron, as well as global health issues such as anaemia and vaccines.

During his time at Costello Medical, William has enjoyed the successful delivery of dozens of projects that span the entire breadth of the company’s service offerings, with a focus on health economics, market access and evidence development. The thing that has enthused him the most, however, is supporting the complex journey of medical device manufacturers in bringing ever more sophisticated and ingenious technologies to patients. It is this passion that led William to formalise a dedicated Medical Devices Division in 2017.
William is joined by a highly committed and talented team, and together, plans to further enhance the support that Costello Medical is able to provide to manufacturers of medical devices. William is dedicated to expanding the services that the company provides and is particularly keen on delivering integrated strategic support to help manufacturers throughout the lifecycle of their device.
After obtaining a first class honours degree in Biochemistry at the University of Cardiff, William completed a Masters degree in Medical Sciences and a PhD in neuroendocrinology at the University of Cambridge. During his doctoral training, William trained in high-throughput genomic technologies and advanced microsurgical techniques. William also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in “Health Economics for Health Care Professionals” from the University of York.

George joined the Singapore office in 2014, bringing a wealth of experience from Costello Medical’s UK office where he worked for nearly two years prior. In Asia-Pacific, George enjoys translating his evidence development, health economics, market access and medical affairs skills to the region’s diverse healthcare environment. He has experience in a range of therapeutic areas, including immunology, neurology and medical devices.
George graduated from the University of Oxford with upper second class honours in Physiological Sciences, specialising in neuroscience and signalling in health and disease. After graduating, George worked as a Research Assistant in the laboratory of Dr Suresh Jesuthasan in Singapore, investigating the neural circuitry underlying fear and anxiety.
George welcomes the opportunity Costello Medical provides to work within a dynamic team in a rapidly developing field. He enjoys bringing innovative solutions to demonstrate the value of pharmaceutical and medical device products, and looks forward to establishing Costello Medical as a leading agency in Asia-Pacific by providing strategic support to his clients.

As a cross-divisional Consultant, Rebecca enjoys the opportunity to work on a variety of project types, ranging from HTA submissions to medical affairs support, value dossiers, literature reviews and economic models. Through these projects she has gained experience in a number of disease areas, including epilepsy, oncology and the spondyloarthropathies. She is also involved in several internal initiatives, including recruitment, the organisation of induction training for new starters, and keeping the Costello Medical LinkedIn pages up-to-date.
During her time at Costello Medical, Rebecca has conducted several pieces of original research, one of which she was delighted to present at the 17th Annual European ISPOR Congress as an oral presentation. To pursue her interest in health economics further, in 2015 Rebecca completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Health Economics for Health Care Professionals (by distance learning) at the University of York.
Rebecca originally graduated from the University of Cambridge in June 2013 with an upper second class degree in Natural Sciences, specialising in Neuroscience.

As a Consultant in the Multidisciplinary Division, Catherine has experience in the management of a wide range of project types including value materials, congress support and HTA submissions, across a broad range of indications. Catherine particularly enjoys the scientific variety of her role, and is excited to continue to grow her skills and knowledge through the projects that she works on, as well as maintaining the excellent quality standards at Costello Medical. In addition to her client responsibilities, Catherine takes responsibility for organising internal training activities, to ensure that the wealth of expertise within Costello Medical is shared throughout the company.
Before joining Costello Medical, Catherine graduated from the University of Cambridge with an upper second class honours degree in Biological Natural Sciences, specialising in Pathology, and in 2016 she completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Health Economics for Health Care Professionals at the University of York.

Schezn joined the Asia-Pacific Analyst Team in 2014, having undergone both clinical and scientific training in a wide range of disease areas.
After graduating from the National University of Singapore with a second upper class honours degree in Pharmacy in 2012, Schezn practised as an inpatient pharmacist in an acute care surgical ward at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. She then went on to pursue an MSc in Clinical Neuroscience at University College London, where her clinical knowledge was supplemented with a deeper appreciation for the way advancements in scientific knowledge shape the development of novel therapeutics.
As part of her graduate course, Schezn conducted a systematic review of clinical trial data on anti-epileptics for seizure prophylaxis, obtaining a merit for her paper that discussed the failure of new anti-epileptic drugs in overcoming pharmacoresistance. She earned a distinction for her research thesis, which investigated the long-term efficacy and adverse effects of greater occipital nerve block and flunarizine for refractory migraine, through which her systematic review, critical appraisal and medical communication skills were further honed.
Schezn is very excited about the rise in importance of medical affairs in the Asia-Pacific region. She looks forward to using her clinical and scientific training in diseases and therapeutics to support the evidence-based pharmaceutical services offered by Costello Medical to raise standards of safe and effective healthcare delivery in the region.

Henrike completed her doctorate in Pathology at the University of Cambridge in early 2016. During her PhD, she studied a non-conventional cell death mechanism during post-lactational regression of the mammary gland. Prior to her doctoral training, Henrike received a BSc in Biochemistry & Cell Biology and an MSc in Biomedical Sciences. During her 9 years in academia, she worked on a wide range of disease areas, including breast cancer, thyroid cancer and chronic Graft-versus-Host-Disease. Henrike has published multiple scientific papers, including a review on oncogene Stat3 in cancer and cell death. She has also presented her findings at numerous national and international conferences and symposia.
Henrike joined the company in January 2016 and is excited about contributing to the diverse projects at Costello Medical. She is particularly looking forward to applying her background in oncology and immunology, and expanding her knowledge of other disease areas.

Ma Qian graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2014 with Double Honours Degrees in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and Business Administration. As part of her final year course, Ma Qian conducted a research project on biofuel recovery. Prior to joining Costello Medical, Ma Qian gained additional insights into the healthcare industry as a conference producer at Terrapinn, where she managed the development of the Biotech Showcase and Symposium, held as part of the 7th BioPharma Asia Convention 2014 in Singapore.
Keen to pursue her interest in the healthcare industry, Ma Qian started at Costello Medical as an Analyst in 2014, and has since then gained experience in medical affairs and market access projects for clients in Asia-Pacific. With her regional experience and language skills, Ma Qian is excited to further develop Costello Medical’s services in Asia-Pacific, particularly in China and Taiwan.

Christian joined Costello Medical after completing his PhD, and a post-doctoral position, in Plant Biotechnology at the University of Cambridge. His academic research focused on the development of industrial algal biotechnology for applications such as biofuels, aquaculture and wastewater treatment. Before this, Christian received a first-class BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Bath, specialising in genomics and biotechnology, and spent a year performing toxicology research at Dartmouth College in the USA. Christian has published multiple peer-reviewed and popular science publications, and presented his work via posters and presentations at numerous international conferences.
Christian is passionate about commercialising science, and in 2015 led a team to the final of the Biotechnology Young Entrepreneur Scheme with their idea for an innovative, sustainable sunscreen made from algae. In his role as Senior Analyst in the Medical Devices Division, Christian enjoys tackling the unique challenges faced by medical devices manufacturers, large and small, across market access and reimbursement.

Having initially joined Costello Medical as a Scientific Intern, Sarah transitioned to the permanent role of Analyst in February 2016. During her time at the company, she has worked on a variety of project types including medical education and market access materials, and in fields as diverse as rheumatology, neurology and minimally invasive surgery.
Sarah graduated from the University of Cambridge in June 2015 with an upper second class BA in Biological Natural Sciences, specialising in Physiology, Development and Neuroscience. Her final-year dissertation focused on the mechanisms underlying gender differences in fetal growth responses to stress. Alongside her studies, Sarah also completed a number of internships, working in scientific research and the fast-moving consumer goods industry.
Sarah is now looking forward to using her scientific knowledge and skills to contribute to improvements in healthcare through her work at Costello Medical.
