Bryony graduated from University College London with a first class honours degree in Natural Sciences, specialising in Neuroscience, Mathematics and Statistics. As an undergraduate she completed a summer internship at the John Innes Centre working on calcium flux detection in legumes. Through this internship Bryony developed a keen interest in biological modelling using her favourite programming language, R.
She then went on to complete a Masters degree in Computational Biology from the University of Cambridge. For her Masters thesis Bryony completed a joint project with AstraZeneca and Cancer Research UK. This project explored integrative clustering of genomic, mutation and copy number data as a way of determining novel non-small cell lung cancer subtypes which may have differing drug responses. After graduating Bryony worked as a financial analyst at the London Ambulance Service where she developed her knowledge of the public sector.
Bryony joined Costello Medical in February 2016. She is excited to develop her statistical and programming skills further whilst working on a wide variety of projects, and is looking forward to contributing to the growth and development of the company.
